Mounted behind the cabin, these Hiab cranes fold away without compromising the 8.1 x 2.5m cargo bed (26.5 x 8 feet). Then, when you arrive at your site, the crane unfurls up to 9.5m (31 feet), giving your truck rental a new dimension of versatility.
At full reach, the lifting arm can raise up to 760kg – nearly as much as a small car. Meanwhile, out to 3m the crane is rated for a huge 2.6 tonnes – as much as a small truck!
Operating the crane is simple and requires no special accreditation. We’ll be happy to demonstrate the controls at pick up.
With a 12-tonne, 12-pallet payload, drivers must have an HR licence (heavy rigid) to operate these vehicles. If you don’t have the right driver, you can use one of ours.
